Hey, friends, visitors and browsers,

Look at this new website, which represents a new format!

Well, it's new "on top," but "underneath," it's the same, only now it's not based on Claris webpage, which is written in long, clumsy paragraphs of html, but is new and clean and relatively brief.  Besides, I can't get it to run on my new flatscreen Mac!

The "theme" of this index page is taken from the image above, which, in its turn, is taken from what I experience of my life.  The links at the top right refer you to my three tried-and-true websites, Spinninglobe.net (spg), Thoughtsnmemories.net (tnm) and Purplepanthers.com (pp).

I've tried to streamline Spinninglobe, but you'll have to be the judge of whether or not I've succeeded.  So many of its pages - like "Shock and Awe: the Absurd and the Frightening - are such favorites that I have found it hard to eliminate many of them!  But I've tried.  You be the judge.

Only one more thing:  here are a few guideposts along the way:  My online bookstore is on spg, my memoirs on tnm, the Ashfield page on pp.  A cluster of family pages, including a lot of great images and some historical articles, is on tnm.
